My Story
I have been a product designer in San Francisco for 20 years. I have had a passion for delicious desserts since my father was a baker. I first discovered HK style dessert cafes while training Muay Thai in Thailand. So when this opportunity comes up, I made the leap everyone dreams of doing, opening my own dessert cafe.
The design of Cream & Sugar will have a playful and chic aesthetic and a bright, alluring color palette. A small children’s play area, roof for seating to overlook the area. Bright neon signage and a colorful hand-painted mural will draw people in as a fun photo op, cute date spot, or family activity. Additional design elements will be more organic and natural, and incorporation of potted and hanging plants will be a must.
